  • Welcome to my Blogsite!

Here you will find information about sessions, specials, and current events. I hope you take the time to browse around to look at my work. I love what I do, and really feel that my Jesus has put me here at this time in my life to creatively capture precious moments and beautiful faces. Wanna know more about me? My roles include being a Christian, a wife, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend, and a mom to my beloved great dane! I collect hobbies. I love to travel, and do anything outdoors. I am a health nut; I love working out, and love cooking even more. I've worked with children with disabilities all my life and will always incorporate that realm in my life somehow. My husband, Mark, is a musician, singer, and DJ, and he is the best at all three! Thanks for visiting, and I hope to have the opportunity to meet you and photograph something special in your life.

hannah s. | senior portraits

Recently, i had the privilege of photographing Hannah, a senior this year, class of 2012. I’ve known Hannah for a few years now. We both worked at a camp for kids with disabilities called Camp Blessing, and not only is she fun to work with, but she also has the biggest heart, and strives to be Christ-like in all she does. Next year, she will attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, home of the Razorbacks!

Hannah was so much fun to photograph. She is gorgeous (as you can see), and she just wanted to have fun that day. We roamed around the Montrose area of Houston, and found quite a few gems to be Hannah’s surroundings. Hope you like as much as I do!:)

meet bryson, marisa, and little violet! such a great family to work with, and such great faces for the camera! violet loved getting her photos taken, and loved watching mark (the hubs) be a weirdo behind me, trying to make her laugh. it worked! as you might be able to see in the photos, violet couldn’t resist eating all the goodies nature has to offer: leaves, pinecones, dirt, pine needles…you know, the good stuff. be sure to check out v’s cute smirks, and take notice of how much her parents adore her. this girl is loved. enjoy!
